Please note – all of our classes will require you to bring your own sewing machine, kit and fabric unless otherwise stated. Full information can be found in the ‘Terms and Conditions’ on the ‘Home’ drop down menu. A deposit is required to secure your place, and full payment is required a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the workshop start date.
For full day classes, you will need to provide your own lunch and cold drinks. Hot drinks will be included, however at this time, we are still asking you to provide your own mug.
Get to Know Your Machine £48
Date – TBC 6.30pm-9pm
For complete beginners who want to learn how to sew, or for those who haven’t stepped on the peddle for a while and need a refresher! This one off class gives you a complete run down of how your machine works, stitches, hints and tips. You will make some samples to help you on your way to becoming a true sewist! Handouts included.
Jelly Roll Rugs £55
Date – TBC 10am-4pm
Using a simple jelly roll, this lesson teaches you how to make a fantastic rug from scratch. These rugs are perfect for any room in the home and can even be cleaned in the washing machine!
This class is perfect for anyone who knows how to use a machine, be it patchwork, dressmaking or anything else!
Patchwork Jacket (3 Class Course) £135
Date – TBC 10am-4pm
Sew this absolutely amazing, quirky jacket over the course of three full days (The second two classes will be set once spaces are all filled).
Mix together two age old traditions – patchwork and dressmaking! This stunning structured jacket will be the star of any occasion; whether your sewing background includes either discipline or not, by the end of this class, you’ll be well on your way to becoming a pro!
Tuffett Workshop £135
Date -TBC 10am-4pm
Everything you need for this class, including your choice of fabric, is incorporated for you to make and go home with a wonderful footstool in just one day!!! All parts for the tuffet have been made or sourced locally. Pictures show some of our students workshop tuffets. This is our most popular and best selling class – book early to avoid disappointment!

Aimed at intermediate sewers, you will need to know how to use your machine to sew and maintain a quarter inch seam. You will also need to be able to use and provide your own rotary cutter, mat and ruler.
Mixed Media Keepsake Notebook £70
Date – 28th September 10am-4pm FULL
Make your own stunning book cover using an unusual burn back technique. You will learn to incorporate multiple different materials including organza, felt, trimmings and metallic fabrics. Every single one made is completely unique! This class includes all your materials, including the notebook, fabric, wool felt, thread, beads and other embellishments, but you will still need to provide your own sewing machine, needles and scissors.
Beginners hand sewing £28
Date – 2nd November 10.30am-1.30pm FULL
This morning class is perfect for someone wanting to learn basic hand sewing in time to make plenty of Christmas gifts! During the class, you will learn how to make a traditional hand-stitched festive decoration, adorned with a beautiful embroidered snowflake! This class includes all materials and is the perfect setting for a festive warm up!
Easy Christmas Makes £55
Date – 16th November 10am-4pm FULL
Get in the festive spirit with us this November and learn how to make a pair of cute little bags, perfect for hiding a secret Christmas gift or two!
This class includes all the fabric you need to make a drawstring pouch and a zip up bag, and is an excellent follow on for anyone who has previously completed the Get To Know Your Machine class.
